2. The Puerto Rico Life Science Air Cargo Community will make every effort to have the material contained at is current, complete, and correct, even so: errors and mistakes cannot be ruled out.

The Community will not accept liability for relevance, accuracy or completeness of information and material offered on unless the mistake is intentionally or through gross negligence. This refers to any loss, additional costs or damage of any kind suffered as a result of any use of any material in the website.


3.’s layout, graphics and pictures used and the collection of individual contributions are protected by intellectual property rights including copyright.

Third part information

4.’s links to websites, datasets, pictures and other third party information and third party providers. The Community does not have influence on the contents or reliability of this third party information and links thereto. The Community expressly distances itself from material of all third party internet web sites, even if links to these. This includes all links placed given on our web site and the material of all sites reached via banners and links on the CCA web site.

GDPR and privacy

5. If participants and users are invited to submit personal information (e-mail address, names, postal addresses, capacity, capability etc) the submission of this information is purely voluntary. The Community expressly declares that the information submitted will not be passed on to third parties, unless agreed so and/or if already publicly available.

General disclaimer on validity of terms

6. If any of the terms and conditions should be determined invalid by reason of the relevant laws then the remaining terms and conditions shall remain in full effect.


7. If users upload images to they should avoid uploading images with embedded location data included (EXIF GPS etc). Visitors of can download and extract any location data from images on the website.


8. If users of leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If an user visits our member login page, the Community will set a temporary cookie to determine if the users browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When members log in, the Community will set up several cookies to save login information and screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If an user selecta “Remember Me”, their login will persist for two weeks. If an user logs out of their account, the login cookies will be removed.

If a user edits or publishes an piece, an additional cookie will be saved on their browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Embedded content of third parties and other websites

9. Media published on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the user has visited the other website. These third party websites may collect data about visitors, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor visitirs interaction with that embedded content, including tracking visitor interaction with the embedded content if the visitor has an account and are logged in to that website.

Sharing data

10. The Community only shares data if agreed so by the visitor and/or participant. If users request a password reset, the visitors IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long the community and retain data

11. If visitors leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For visitors that register on, the Community also storea the personal information visitors provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Rights over data

12. If visitors have an account on, or have left comments, they can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. They can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about them. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
